EVLO energy storage systems offer a safer choice for your employees and your neighbors. At the core of EVLO’s systems are proprietary lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells with superior thermal and chemical stability compared to traditional lithium-ion cells.

Thermal stability

EVLO’s inherently stable chemistry provides protection against misapplications or environmental damage. The chemical structure of our technology makes our cells virtually immune to the dangerous effects of thermal runaway that characterize competing technologies.

Health & safety at the heart of our design

Our chemistry is non-toxic, and compared to nickel and cobalt-based lithium-ion cells, a compromised EVLO cell is safer to handle. Nickel and cobalt-based lithium-ion cells are considered hazardous materials when damaged.


EVLO energy storage systems are a more sustainable choice for your community. We have designed our advanced lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells to be environmentally responsible and to minimize waste across their entire life cycle. EVLO energy storage systems include an end-of-life recycling program.

Made from abundant raw materials

Our proprietary cell chemistry contains no rare earth metals or scarce raw materials. Most competing lithium chemistries use cobalt as an essential component. More than half the world’s cobalt comes from the DR Congo, where human rights abuses plague the cobalt mining industry.

High efficiency

EVLO energy storage systems offer unparalleled performance. Our cells provide 100% depth of discharge and have a round-trip efficiency of almost 90% when passing through a transformer, energy storage system and inverter. An EVLO system does not have to be oversized to power a given requirement, unlike competing systems.

Long life span

EVLO’s energy storage systems are designed for long life – up to 20 years*, without the need to replace the battery modules. An innovative recycling process can recover and reuse 99% of all active battery materials.
